Locally Grown Weekly Bouquets
SUMMER FLOWER SHARES
ENJOY A LARGE BOUQUET of unique, field-fresh, locally grown flowers in your home or workplace once a week for 8-10 weeks, from mid-July to mid-September. Bouquets feature over 40 varieties of flowers throughout the summer, including many native perennials. Some will be long-time familiar favorites such as snapdragons, sunflowers and zinnias, while many others may be new and unusual. Flowers are harvested close to pick-up time to ensure the longest vase life possible, without the use of toxic chemicals so common in the cut-flower business.

BOUQUETS ARE GATHERED, arranged, and delivered directly to your home or workplace. Bouquets come with weekly “flowering notes” that include information and musings about flowers, farming, and the land.
COMMON PLACE FARM IS A CSA flower farm. Also known as “subscription farming,” CSA stands for “community supported agriculture,” a direct farmer to consumer relationship that eliminates the middle folk, and allows consumers to become more intimately involved with their local producers. CSA members purchase a “share” at the beginning of the season and receive weekly deliveries throughout the summer. Members are invited to come to the farm for special events, work projects or just to spend time on the land.
MEMBERSHIP IN A CSA supports local farmers’ efforts to live and work with the land in sustainable ways. Buying locally also reduces our reliance on oil. Flowers from Common Place Farm travel 37 miles to market as compared to the hundreds and even thousands of miles most flowers travel to your local florist.
